To join, individuals must register at http://www.duncanwatch.com/join . All “Duncan Chat” WhatsApp group users agree to adhere to the rules set forth by this group’s members.

- "Duncan Chat" (Non-Urgent Open Chat)

“Duncan Chat” WhatsApp group is intended for our Duncan Neighborhood members. This communication platform is an open discussion forum.

1) Be Kind and Courteous:

This is a welcoming environment; participants must treat everyone with respect. A zero- tolerance policy is in effect, pertaining but not limited to, bullying, bad-mouthing, hate speech, foul/abusive/threatening language, and/or harassment of any kind. User(s) in non-compliance shall be issued as a warning; failure to observe the group rules shall result in user(s) removal/ban from this group. Removed/Banned User(s) may reapply for membership at a later date, subject to existing member review/approval.

2) Approved Posts:

Individual postings to share information which may help bring the community together, such as but not limited to, volunteering, birthday events/wishes, neighbor to neighbor donations/offerings. Please no posting of personal/private information, unsolicited advice, political statements/reference, or any information which may be deemed controversial.

“Duncan Watch” WhatsApp group is intended for our Duncan Neighborhood Watch Group members. This communication platform sole purpose is to keep group members informed of urgent events and issues which may be of community concern.

To join “Duncan Watch”, individuals must register at http://www.duncanwatch.com/join . All “Duncan Watch” WhatsApp group users agree to adhere to the rules set forth by this group’s members. User(s) in non-compliance shall be issued as a warning; failure to observe the group rules shall result in user(s) removal/ban from this group.

2) Approved Posts:

Individual postings to alert members of critical pertinent neighborhood watch related information. Suspicious activities, criminal matters, and/or emergency matters should first be reported to the Los Angeles Police Department. Then, alert your neighbors by posting within our WhatsApp group. Relevant posts are only to contain the fact of Who, What, Where and When. A “one time limit” applies to each post unless the reposting/duplication is issued by this group’s Admin(s) as new members join. In the event a member would like additional information on any given post, unless the additional information is deemed pertinent/necessary for the group’s collective knowledge, please contact the individual who shared the post directly outside of this group forum.

3) Disallowed Posts:

No back and forth / one on one conversations; private conversations are to be outside of this group forum or within our "Duncan Chat" channel. No posting of personal/private information, unsolicited advice, political statements/reference, or any information which may be deemed controversial. No individual posting of self-promoting, marketing, recommendations, requests for outside charity or donations of any kind. All Community/Group approved event related posts are issued by this group’s Admin(s) only. If a member is uncertain of the subject matter they wish to post/share, please contact this group’s Admin(s) for further assistance.

2. Duncan Watch Members can only be community residents and active participants of the Duncan Watch Group. Duncan Watch Group membership/participation is strictly deemed voluntary and accepted at individual(s) sole discretion and risk.
